The newest series of Married At First Sight UK kicked off this week, but it appears it may not have been smooth sailing behind the scenes, with three stars reported to have been threatened with being axed from the show.
The three participants, who have not been named, are said to have been threatened with being kicked off the show after a night of "wild partying." Revealing the incident a TV insider told the MailOnline: "The cast had been getting to know each other better during a night out after two weeks of filming and were chaperoned by the welfare team. "They continued the party at their home in one of the apartments in Wembley, where producers put them up during the series to live with their new spouse.
But the night took an unexpected turn, and three cast members were reprimanded the next day for their actions. "The entire cast were spoken to either as individuals or in their couples by CPL Productions and were warned about how serious the situation was and to not do the same again." OK!
have contacted representatives for Channel 4 for comment. Former MAFS star and new OK! columnist Chanita Stephenson has revealed some behind-the-scenes secrets, including how the hen parties are not quite as boozy as they may seem.
