Local Choir’s Version Of ‘Music’ Gets Tick Of Approval From Madonna, Sharing It With 19.8m Followers
deadline.comMadonna has made a country choir’s dreams come true, sharing their video performing one of her hits with her 19.8million followers on Instagram.
The choir from Northampton in the middle of the UK had sung their own version of Madonna’s 2000 hit Music and shared it on social media – where the BBC reports it was spotted by the pop superstar and re-posted it on her own Instagram Stories.
The Northants Sings Out choir had previously appeared on the UK’s Britain’s Got Talent, but the choirmaster Gareth Fuller told the BBC receiving this tick of approval from Madonna was “just unreal.” Their version of Music was part of a montage which included the hymn All is Well and also Show Me Love by Robin S.
So far, the BBC reports that 280,000 viewers have watched the clip on YouTube, but this number will no doubt rocket as a result of Madonna’s endorsement.
