Lewis Capaldi 'splits' from actress girlfriend after two years of long-distance relationship

According to friends of the Wish You The Best singer, the decision was "mutual" and the pair are still on speaking terms.The couple first confirmed their relationship in early 2023 and Ellie was said to have been a huge support for Lewis during his difficult summer the same year.They kept their relationship relatively private and were only spotted together on the showbiz circuit a handful of times, including at a BRITS after-party.
A source said this week that the pair decided to end their romance after "some long conversations", and said the decision was entirely mutual. "Ellie is still based in Edinburgh and Lewis lives in London so it’s been hard for them to see each other," the source told The Sun. "It’s sad but ultimately Lewis and Ellie had a wonderful time together.
It just wasn’t to be." The actress, who played Jennifer Grant in the ITVX drama series Archie, was described as his "rock" when the singer took time out after his Glastonbury 2023 set.
