Lanarkshire's Regent Shopping Centre reveals fun-filled free summer activities for children

Hamilton's Regent Shopping Centre has announced a fun-filled free summer activity programme for the school holidays.The venue will be offering kids' events each weekend during the break to help families keep their children entrained.These include summer crafts, greenhouse making and a mini zoo, with each activity taking place in the centre from 12pm to 4pm.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

The centre has also launched its We Are Going On our Holidays summer school competition. Seven local schools have submitted class drawings of what summer means to them and the winning school will receive £500 from The Regent.The school artwork is now available to view from inside Unit 26 at the Quarry Street entrance until August 18, when the winning school will be announced.
