Lanarkshire ride-out returns to raise awareness of safe driving around horses on the road

Horse riders from across Lanarkshire will take to the roads next month for the third year in a trot to raise awareness around road safety for equestrians.Dozens of riders will take part in the ride-out which forms part of the nationwide “Pass Wide and Slow” event, with over 200 similar rides taking place across the UK simultaneously.Organisers Kat Stark and Julie Cameron will welcome an increased number of riders for this year’s ride, with 36 horses already lined up to take part.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
