Lanarkshire Rangers supporters' club hand over bumper cheque to veterans' charity

Some fabulous fundraising allowed a Lanarkshire supporters' club to hand over a bumper cheque to a veterans' charity. Members of the Newmains Loyal Rangers Supporters' Club, which leaves from the Bellside Inn, were able to invite representatives from Erskine, which has been caring for veterans since 1916 with their care homes providing ex-servicemen and women with the companionship of like-minded people.The fundraising event, held at Cambusnethan Miners' Club, saw a grand total of £1850 raised and this week they were able to present a cheque to representatives from the charity.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
