After losing out on a permanent transfer, Rangers could still see some Malik Tillman benefit with the midfielder on the brink of leaving Bayern Munich. The American spent last season on loan at Ibrox and the agreement with the Bundesliga champions included an exclusive option to buy.

However, that was cancelled by Bayern in exchange for Gers receiving 10 per cent of any future fee. Now they have an idea of how much they could bank as Tillman nears a move to PSV.Tillman helped Rangers dump the dutch outfit out of last season's Champions League as the Light Blues beat them over two legs in the playoff round to secure their spot in the group stage.

Now Sky Sports Germany report that PSV will be Tillman's next destination. A loan agreement has been reached with Bayern that will see him head to Eindhoven for the duration of the 2023/24 Eredivise campaign for a fee of €1million.The relevant bit to Rangers is the option to buy.

PSV can make the move permanent for between €12m and 14m. Due to the amended agreement with Bayern, the Glasgow club could net between £1m and £1.2m if PSV do take up the option.
