Rangers hero Kris Boyd appeared to score an own goal after telling fellow pundit Clinton Morrison he'd be at Euro 2024 before his on-air pal reminded him he's Irish.
The pundit was on duty for Sky and was savouring in his nations' big time glory when he confidently predicted Morrison would be basking in the glow of the major tournament.
But the former striker was quick to set Boyd right. The Ibrox favourite said: "First game I'm looking forward to it. It's what we do isn't it?
We open tournaments when we get there. You'll be there. You'll definitely be there." But Morrison – capped 36 times for his country – quickly responded: "I won't be there mate.
