Knott’s Berry Farm is warning line jumpers: stay in line or you may have to leave the park. The Los Angeles Times is reporting that the theme park is encouraging guests to report line jumpers by texting a message to the park’s security team.
The warning is meant to stop line cutting and or holding places for a large group, both situations that make long waits even longer and have the potential for confrontations between park patrons.
The Times reports that Disneyland, Six Flags Magic Mountain and Universal Studios Hollywood also forbid cutting. The difference at those parks is that guests can pay extra to jump the line and shorten their waiting time.
Knott’s Berry Farm has not responded to the report. Knotts has a paid upgrade called “Fast Lane” that allows patrons to avoid long waits on certain rides.
