Harry was educated at Wetherby School, Ludgrove School, and Eton College. He spent parts of his gap year in Australia and Lesotho. He then underwent officer training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He was commissioned as a cornet (second lieutenant) into the Blues and Royals, serving temporarily with his brother Prince William, and he completed his training as a troop leader. In 2007–08, he served for over ten weeks in Helmand, Afghanistan, but was pulled out after an Australian magazine revealed his presence there. He returned to Afghanistan for a 20-week deployment in 2012–13 with the Army Air Corps. He left the army in June 2015.

King Charles waves as he's seen for first time since Harry offered to return to royal role

King Charles was spotted for the first time since the news broke about Prince Harry's potential temporary return to royal duties.The King, who is currently battling cancer, was seen heading to a church service at St Mary Magdalene Church with Queen Camilla on Sunday morning.

Despite the rain, the royal couple were all smiles, protected by umbrellas. King Charles, dressed in a brown coat, waved to the public before being welcomed by Rev Canon Dr Paul Williams.

This is the first public appearance of the King since reports surfaced about his youngest son, Prince Harry, considering a temporary return to help out while his father undergoes treatment.

Touched by the nation's support in his fight against cancer, King Charles expressed his gratitude last week. He said that the support has been the "greatest comfort" and he is encouraged that his diagnosis has brought attention to organisations assisting patients.
