King Charles is reportedly set to resume holding meetings next week, following the announcement of his cancer diagnosis earlier this week.
It is claimed that the 75-year-old King will hold several face-to-face meetings in London. Charles is believed to be spending a day or so working in the capital and meeting several people in a trip that is likely to coincide with medical appointments.The King has been based at Sandringham since leaving hospital last week following his prostate surgery, but the Mail Online reports that the King is well enough to hold a limited number of face-to-face meetings.
On Monday, Buckingham Palace announced that His Majesty has been diagnosed with a form of cancer and has started a schedule of treatment He is stepping back from "public-facing duties", but is continuing with behind-the-scenes work on his red boxes of state papers.
It is currently unknown what type of cancer Charles has, although it has been confirmed it is not prostate. Queen Camilla has said the King is doing "extremely well under the circumstances".
