Kelly Bensimon Speaks Out After Calling Off Her Wedding to Scott Litner

The 56-year-old Real Housewives of New York City star says she’s “better off” since ending her engagement to Scott Litner just days ahead of their wedding, via Daily Mail. “I’m obviously extremely disappointed, but it’s not something that just happened,” she said to the outlet. Keep reading to find out more… She said she decided to call it off because he refused to sign a prenuptial agreement. “It’s like when you’re a single parent, whether you have thousands in your account or you have a 100 million in your account, women are going to need to protect themselves, and I’m just not going to take a risk,” she explained. “It’s about having personal respect and value, which I have,” she added. “I’m raising two girls, who are really important to me.
