Jury hears cops seized £200k worth of cannabis in Lanarkshire motorway swoop

A jury has heard that police officers seized cannabis worth more than £200,000 during a motorway swoop in Lanarkshire. Anwar Shafi, 59, and Kamran Hussain, 41, are on trial at Hamilton Sheriff Court.

They are accused of being concerned in the supply of cannabis on the M74, near Bothwell, and elsewhere in Scotland and England in October 2020.
