Lanarkshire town set to benefit from cash boost as remediation work continues

A Lanarkshire town will benefit from millions of pounds worth of investment aimed at transforming land in the area. An investment of £3,350,000 is set to be spent on Shawfield’s Green Regeneration Innovation District (GRID) Campus in Rutherglen.

The cash has been awarded through the Scottish Government’s Regeneration Capital Grant Fund, with the area one of 23 community-based initiatives to benefit.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
