Julia Bradbury joined Richard Madeley and Trisha Goddard on Tuesday's Good Morning Britain to share an intimate update on her health battle. On Tuesday (August 13), Richard steered the conversation in a poignant direction by asking the consumer affairs reporter: "Has your outlook on everything changed since having cancer?"Julia replied affirmatively: "Completely and I'm sure Trisha will agree with me, I know.

It is impossible to face a cancer diagnosis, live through treatment and ongoing disease, whatever your situation might be and for your life not to be changed."The BBC presenter, who has been fighting breast cancer since 2021, then revealed to Richard that the illness had been an "awakening" for her, and even went so far as to say it "saved her life".During the discussion, Trisha visibly moved but choosing to remain silent, listened intently as Julia recounted her two-year remission journey.Reflecting on the lifestyle changes triggered by her diagnosis, Julia confessed to Richard and Trisha how pre-cancer life involved constant stress and bad habits she's now overcome, admitting: "I was a workaholic and I was pushing myself, I was stressed all the time, I wasn't eating properly.

I was addicted to sugar, all sorts of things that I have completely changed."The discussion turned out to be incredibly emotional.

Julia's treatment had been successful so far, with a 6cm tumour removed from her breast and doctors confirming there was "no sign of disease" currently. However, the situation was starkly different for Trisha, who was sitting next to her.Trisha is currently battling cancer and medical experts have now informed her that it's sadly not curable.
