Ange Postecoglou has reportedly handed Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy a list of January targets – which includes Al-Ittihad outcast Jota.
However, the Premier League club will reportedly shut the door on a reunion for the former Celtic winger with his one-time boss if the Saudi Pro League side demand a significant fee.
The 25-year-old winger looks set to leave the Middle East on a temporary basis having been left off the list of foreign players allowed in their squad for league duty, relegating the Scottish Treble winner to appearances in cup competitions and friendlies following his £25million move.
Reports in the Middle East state new boss Marcelo Gallardo is willing to move on the player on January just six months after his mega-money Celtic Park departure – with Postecoglou set to hand the wide man a career lifeline in the English Premier League.
