ITV Dancing On Ice star splits from fiancé as they reveal 'hardest year'
ok.co.ukLibby Clegg has announced that she has split from fiancé Dan Powell.The Paralympic gold medallist, who reached the final of Dancing on Ice back in 2020, shared the sad news in a candid Instagram post, in which she reflected on her "hardest year" so far.
Sharing a photo of herself and her son, she wrote: "Many of you may not know this but 2023 has been one of the hardest years of my life.There’s been a lot more downs than ups and at times I’ve really felt like giving up. "This little boy has brought me so much joy and happiness and made me smile even when I didn’t think it was possible.
Being a single Mum is toughest thing I’ve ever had to overcome. Looking forward to 2024, I’m excited for what my future will bring with a fresh start." Libby's followers were quick to offer support, including TV presenter Trisha Goddard, who wrote: "Bless you Libby.
Stay strong… I was once a single mum and it was bloody tough, but rewarding at the same time. Sending you loads of love." "Bless you Libby you are stronger than you think you are no matter what you've got this I believe in you, keep that head held high" added another.
