Lanarkshire singer performs duet with musical idol Shania Twain after performance in final of reality TV show 'Starstruck'

A Lanarkshire carer who wowed judges on Starstruck with his transformation into Meat Loaf got to fulfil a "life-long dream" by performing a duet with country legend Shania Twain during the TV talent show's final.

Although William Boyle, 31, missed out on the £50,000 top prize, which went to winner Abbie Edwards for her turn as Adele, he says his rendition of his idol Twain's hit You're Still The One alongside the icon on stage was "the best thing I could have ever hoped for".

As previously reported by Lanarkshire Live, Hamilton singer William sailed through to the Starstruck final after a powerful performance of Meat Loaf's I Would Do Anything for Love .
