Ayub Qassim and a man known only as 'Rocky' spoke out about the incident for the first time on YouTube.The pair were among the last to see Jay before he vanished on Monday 17 June.
Jay was enjoying a music festival in Tenerife with pals Lucy Law and Brad Hargreaves at the time. On the night of 16 June, Jay partied at the Papagayo nightclub in Playa de las Americas before heading to an Airbnb in the remote village of Masca with Ayub Qassim and Rocky.
After leaving the £40-a-night apartment, Jay disappeared, sparking a massive four-week search.Tragically, his body was discovered on Monday 15 July, with Spanish authorities stating that his injuries were consistent with a fall in the mountainous terrain.
