Love Island’s Molly Smith, who won the All Stars series of the dating show at the beginning of this year with partner Tom Clare, has hit back at a troll who body shamed her online after she shared a now deleted photo of her Thursday night dinner in front of the TV.
Molly’s photo showed her enjoying a night in with a Chinese takeaway and salad, which caused the troll to send her a direct message that said: “I'm guessing you just had salad and don't eat stuff like this at all?” According to Mail Online, Molly shared but has since deleted the message, and posted a reply in which she wrote: “Seriously yes I’m perfectly fine thanks for asking.
I’m getting the impression however that you’re not, seen as you keep feeling the need to dm me about the health and body.” She also wrote: “Yet again another troll strikes, what happened to empowering women?” Molly has spoken about her experiences with trolls in the past.
In an interview with Yahoo! Life in April, she was asked about how she felt about being called too skinny when she appeared on Love Island.
