The latest series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! has received nearly 2,000 Ofcom complaints so far, despite the contestants only being halfway through the show. The hit ITV show returned on Sunday, 19 November and while it has proven to be a hit with viewers once again, I'm A Celeb has come under fire with some fans even reaching out to TV watchdog Ofcom to voice their complaints.

A total of 1,717 complaints have so far been received by Ofcom regarding I'm A Celebrity, reports Express.co.uk, with two incidents in particular being the focus of viewers' frustrations.

862 of the complaints referred to Nella Rose's row with Fred Sirieix on 21 November, Ofcom confirmed to the publication. Despite only having been in camp for a matter of days, Nella, 26, became embroiled in a row with First Dates star Fred, 51, after she took offence to a comment Fred made about being old enough to "be her dad". "Last night after dinner, Fred made a comment about him basically how he could be my dad," Nella stated at the time. "I took offence to that because one of the first conversations we had together was me opening up about the fact that my dad’s passed away." She proceeded to ignore Fred for days after the row, but the pair eventually patched things up.

Meanwhile, 856 complaints were related to a disagreement between Nella and Nigel Farage on Wednesday, 22 November. As the pair discussed Nigel’s views on politics, the duo failed to see eye-to-eye.
