Liam James Payne (born 29 August 1993) is an English singer and songwriter.
He rose to fame as a member of the boy band One Direction.
Payne made his debut as a singer when he auditioned for the British television series The X Factor in 2008. After being eliminated as a solo performer, he auditioned again in 2010 and was put into a group with four other contestants to form One Direction
Missing Scots man last seen five days ago as cops appeal for information

And this morning, police have appealed for help in tracking him down. A post on the Police Scotland Tayside Facebook page asked for assistance.It read: "We are appealing for information which could help trace Anthony Elder who has been reported missing in Dundee.
The 35-year-old was most recently seen around 5pm on Monday, 18 December. He was reported missing on Friday, 22 December. "He is described as being white, 5ft 8in tall with short, receding brown hair.
