Charles manages to get Chas to open up about her loneliness and the effect Aaron’s behaviour, which has spiralled since his return to the village, is having on her.
Soon, after Aaron has an altercation with Chas, Charles orders Aaron to show his mother respect. However, when Aaron goads Charles, a scuffle ensues leading to Charles making a grovelling apology to Chas.
Meanwhile, Aaron entices Ethan Anderson (Emile John) into Mill Cottage, seizing a chance to get in with Charles’ son. But Aaron soon crosses the line when he humiliates Ethan, who’s fallen hook line and sinker for Aaron, in front of his dad.
