Manchester City's Premier League fate will be left to the hands of an independent regulator as Pep Guardiola is set to learn the full extent of the club's alleged breaches.
City were charged with 115 FFP breaches by the Premier League in February amid claims of points deductions, stripped titles and huge fans.
A Daily Mail report on Thursday afternoon suggested that a trial would come to an end in autumn 2024 following the start of next season, though the newspaper concluded that the verdict would only be reached in summer 2025 at the earliest.
