A woman thought she was going to die after the plane she was on was thrown around during a terrifying storm. Over the weekend, the usually sun-drenched and beautiful island of Mallorca was plunged into chaos as it was battered by strong winds and rain.
A P&O cruise ship and a freight vessel crashed in the horrible weather and tourists in a resort were trapped as objects were launched through the air, reports WalesOnline.
Estela Orts was one of the unfortunate few in the air, flying above the Balearics when the storm hit. The performer, who stars as Captain Scarlet in the famous Pirates show of Magaluf, told the Mirror she felt 'vulnerable' as the aircraft began to lurch.
She explained: "When I felt that we were falling sharply, I began to have an anxiety attack, my legs and hands trembled, it was a situation that I could not control, it was not up to me to save myself and it created even more anxiety."
