EastEnders viewers 'work out' another epic character return to protect Bobby Beale
ok.co.ukEastEnders fans think they have "worked out" another legendary character return that could help to protect Bobby Beale. It looks like young Bobby will need help after he came face-to-face with Cindy Beale during tonight's (31 August) episode.
Cindy is of course the mum of the late Lucy Beale, who was murdered by Bobby. Bobby has come on leaps and bounds in recent months as he attempts to move on from his past, but as Cindy arrived, it was clear that he is still struggling with his guilt.
The pair, who had never met before, were introduced to each other at the hospital while the Knight and the Beale families waited for news on Gina after her scary collapse.
Despite Cindy saying that it was nice to meet Bobby, it was obvious that both felt awkward in the situation. Once Bobby had walked away, Cindy questioned his presence, to which his father, Ian Beale, said: "I thought you would be fine with him?" Cindy explained: "Yeah, it's just seeing him in the flesh, it just makes my blood run cold." As the fallout from Cindy's return continues to send shock waves around the Square, she is yet to confront Bobby about her daughter's death.
