I'm A Celebrity presenter Ant McPartlin has silenced claims that the show is 'fixed' after fans accused one celeb of getting special treatment in the jungle. The ITV reality show is struggling to pull in viewers this year as many are boycotting due to former UKIP leader Nigel Farage landing a role in the lineup. But for those watching, 26-year-old YouTuber Nella Rose has previously sparked fury amongst fans due to her clash with First Dates' Fred Sirieix just days into their stint in the jungle. The Mirror reports that this week saw Nella become crowned camp leader by her teammates, after she had been taken out of the running for one trial due to suffering from an injury.
The contestants casted their votes in private, but some were shown on camera describing how they wanted to vote for their choice as they had been struggling in the jungle.
Some viewers took to social media to accuse the producers of 'fixing' the show so that Nella would end up as the camp leader, and Ant was quick to shut these rumours down.He said: “I saw a few people on social media say that it was obvious [that Nella was voted camp leader].
No, it wasn’t. It was a complete blind vote which they’ve done down there, it was completely up to the campmates."Not up to anybody here in production.
