It's only been just over a week since the hit dance competition wrapped up its 2023 series but there is still plenty of glitter and sparkles left for the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special.

On December 16, fans tuned in to the final of the 21st series of the hit BBC One dance competition. Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola were crowned the winners of Strictly 2023 during the grand final which also saw Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin and Bobby Brazier and Dianne Buswell compete.

Hosted by Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman, the episode will see the show's iconic ballroom transformed into a magical winter wonderland for an all-star Christmas special that, according to the BBC, "promises to dazzle audiences with a magical blend of dance, glitter, and festive cheer." Each of the six couples will perform a festive-fueled routine with the hope of impressing the judges, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke, Head Judge Shirley Ballas, and the voting studio audience.
