‘I found my husband messaging a woman from work - I’m trying to be normal for the kids but I feel sick’
ok.co.ukA woman has revealed that she was left being “sick” when she discovered that her husband had been messaging another woman - after he failed to delete messages from the recently deleted file on his phone.The unnamed woman explained that she’d “finally plucked” up the courage to ask her partner to let her see his phone after she felt “jealous” of another woman.
But when she had a look at his phone, she uncovered her partner’s betrayal when he made the mistake of not properly deleting the messages he’d exchanged with this other woman.
Explaining the situation on Mumsnet, the anonymous woman said that while on holiday she came across the texts after he “didn’t realise that he has to delete his deleted messages from the recently deleted file.” She said: “I found quite a lot but only up till about 3 months ago, nothing before.
Him telling her that he misses her.Texting when he was away telling me how much he misses me.Telling her that she’s one of the greatest people he has ever met.That he wants her in his life.” Despite taking screenshots of the messages, the woman claims that her husband insisted that “nothing happened” and that the woman he was messaging was just a friend - something which she says has made the situation a lot worse. “I feel so betrayed but the fact that he’s lying to me is worse.
