The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) will be paying out £300 to millions of people throughout the first half of November.
While the second Cost of Living Payment will continue to be paid out until November 19, the government highlighted that only certain people claiming means-tested benefits will be eligible for the payment, and even then there are certain criteria that must be met.
