One woman has managed to transform her entire dining room on a budget by getting hands-on. Gabi Welsh, 42, wanted to turn her 'run-down' dining room into a chic Victorian-style space without spending a fortune.

The mum-of-two did her own plastering and panelling and did the whole renovation for less than £100 by shopping for deals in Home Bargains and B&Q.
