Two men who helped Raoul Moat carry out a shooting spree and evade the police in 2010 were eventually jailed for their part in the crime.
Moat, 37, was at the centre of a Northumbria Police manhunt which made headlines across the country after shooting and injuring his ex-girlfriend Samantha Stobbart and killing her new boyfriend Christopher Brown.
He also shot and blinded police officer David Rathband, who tragically killed himself less than two years later. The Newcastle bouncer went on the run for a week and following a six-hour stand-off with police in the village of Rothbury, Northumberland, where Moat was hiding out, he shot himself in the head and died.
ITV drama The Hunt for Raoul Moat, which continues airing on Monday night (April 17) and Tuesday night (April 18), is exploring the story behind the manhunt.
