Gerard Butler & ‘Olympus Has Fallen’ Producers Settle $10M Profits Battle – Update

Update, 11:47 AM: The lawsuit has fallen. After over two years, Gerard Butler and the producers of Olympus Has Fallen have come to a deal over the actor’s lawsuit for $10 million in profits from the 2013 launching White House action franchise.

Nu Image and Millennium Media’s Pryor Cashman LLP attorneys filed “Notice of Settlement of Entire Case” paperwork today, moving the matter to its conclusion. “The settlement agreement conditions dismissal of this matter on the satisfactory completion of specified terms that are not to be performed within 45 days of the date of the settlement,” the filing Thursday in LA Superior Court states. “A request for dismissal will be filed no later than (date): January 5, 2024.” Details are confidential, but it seems the Scottish actor walked away “satisfied,” according to a source close to the matter.

With Butler as presidential detail Secret Service agent Mike Banning, there have been a trio of Have Fallen films — Olympus Has Fallen (2013), London Has Fallen (2016), and Angel Has Fallen (2019) — and a fourth, Night Has Fallen, remains in the works.
