A 102-year-old former DJ, Margaret Leigh-Morgan, has considered coming out of retirement to replace Roman Kemp as the host of Capital Breakfast, saying she could give him a "good run for his money".

Roman Kemp, who has been with the station for nearly ten years, announced on X, previously Twitter, that he hopes his departure will "give my chair at the table to someone else".

Margaret, who lives in Pear Tree Court care home in Horndean, Hampshire, might be that 'someone else'. This great-grandma of five became a radio DJ when she was 92.

She hosted the Nonsense At Noon slot on Angel Radio for five years before retiring in 2017. Angel Radio is all about vintage music and brings back "happy memories for lovers of nostalgia". Try MEN Premium now for FREE...
