A man who died in a horror crash in Edinburgh has been named as Dylan Clack.The 29-year-old, known as Dizzy, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene on Corstorphine Road after the silver VW Tiguan he was driving crashed into a wall on March 30.

A 17-year-old passenger was rushed to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh where he remains in serious but stable condition.His devastated family paid tribute to the young dad who was 'remembered for his big smile'.A statement released via Police Scotland read: “Dylan, known as Dizzy, was a beloved son, brother, father, grandson, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend.“He will be sadly missed by all of us.

Dylan will be remembered for his big smile.”The road was closed for around eight hours after the fatal accident. Officers in Edinburgh say they are continuing to probe the circumstances which led to the collision.

Sergeant Louise Birrell, of the Edinburgh Road Policing Unit, said: “Our thoughts remain with Dylan’s family and friends at what is a very difficult time for them."She added: “Enquiries into the full circumstances continue and anyone who has not already spoken to officers is asked to call us on 101, quoting incident number 4595 of Saturday, 30 March, 2024.” Don't miss the latest news from around Scotland and beyond - Sign up to our daily newsletter here.
