Missing Edinburgh man William Budge traced by police after appeal launched

Officers from Police Scotland believed he may have been in the Fife area of the country.Cops said they were concerned for William's safety and urged anyone who knew anything about his whereabouts to get in touch.Inspector Craig Sandbach, from the nation-wide force, said: “We are concerned for William’s welfare and urge anyone who may have seen him to contact us.“We are carrying out searches to try and trace William and I’d urge anyone who may have information about his whereabouts to contact us.”Police confirmed on Monday morning that he had been traced.A spokesperson said: "William Budge, 61, who was missing from the Silverknows Gardens area of Edinburgh has now been traced."
