He was inundated with messages from his co-stars and fans following the gruelling run. He had been sharing updates from his training on his social media page ahead of the big day on Sunday, April 21, which saw a record number of people take part.
Lawrence first revealed he was doing the marathon in February.The actor explained earlier this year he was raising money for a charity close to his heart, Samaritans, which aims to provide support to those in emotional distress or at risk of taking their own life reports Manchester Evening News.He confirmed he was taking part in the London marathon on Instagram, as he snuggled up to his pet dog, admitting he was 'crazy' for doing so.
Sharing an update on how it went, Lawrence explained his girlfriend would 'break up' with him if he ever signed up again.He shared: "My girlfriend said she would break up with me if I ever ran another marathon, I'm here to find out why," in a TikTok video at the starting line.
