First picture of Scots mum killed alongside man in horror three vehicle crash

A woman who died alongside a man following a horror crash near Annan has been named by police.Melissa Delaney, 41, was pronounced dead at the scene after emergency services were called to the A75, near the B721 junction, at around 6.20am on Tuesday.

The crash involved a Peugeot Boxer van, a Nissan Qashqai and a Renault Clio.Melissa, from Dumfries, was driving the Nissan. Ambulance crews attended but the mum was pronounced dead alongside the 35-year-old male driver of the van.

The van driver has not yet been identified but the families of both have been informed. The 49-year-old male driver of the Renault Clio was not injured.

The road was closed for several hours while investigations were carried out.
