Wolves' disciplinary woes following their late defeat to Manchester City continue, as it has emerged that their sporting director was involved in an incident with the referee at Molineux on Sunday.
City needed a 95th-minute winner from John Stones to edge past a stubborn Wolves side at the weekend, with the goal initially ruled out for offside as it passed Bernardo Silva, who was stood close to goalkeeper Jose Sa.
But after an on-field VAR review, the officials correctly determined that Bernardo had got out of the way in good time and was not impeding Sa's ability to save Stones' header.
Despite angry protestations from Wolves fans and some players, City left Molineux with the three points.
