ok.co.ukPoor Ruby has been heartbroken following her husband’s betrayal in Emmerdale, and it seems that finally enough is enough for her as she has left the village, at least for the time being.
Ruby discovered that Caleb had lied to her over the death of her mother, Helen, with him swindling her mum out of £100,000 before she died.
It turned out that Helen had tried to see her daughter, but Caleb had intervened and gone to see Helen instead, demanding she pay him before he would arrange a meeting with Ruby.
Unfortunately, Helen died shortly after giving Caleb the money. When Helen’s will was read, Ruby figured out what her husband had done, and by the episode on Wednesday 23 October, Caleb was accusing his wife of trying to sabotage his deal with Jimmy to buy out the haulage firm, adding more tension between the couple.
