It was originally made by Garrand for Queen Mary in 1914 and was then passed down to Queen Elizabeth II, who lent the tiara to her late daughter-in-law, Diana.
It was reportedly one of Diana’s favorite pieces to wear.Kate was first spotted wearing the gorgeous accessory in 2015 at the Diplomatic Reception at Buckingham Palace.
For the event, the Princess of Wales sported an elegant lace dress, dangly diamond earrings and wore her hair in a glamorous updo.Three years later, Kate once again made headlines for wearing her late mother-in-law’s go-to accessory.
