Erik ten Hag asked if he fears losing Manchester United job

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag does not believe his role is in jeopardy after a second successive home defeat. United have lost six of their first 10 games for the first time since the 1986-87 season after Galatasaray twice came from behind in a 3-2 triumph at Old Trafford.

"But we come out together, we are fighting together, we are sticking together, behind each other, it's me, the directors, the team, all together, we will fight and this is not us.

We know we have to do better and in togetherness we will come out." United have conceded 20 goals in 10 fixtures - their most at the start of a campaign since 1966-67 - and Galatasaray equalised within six minutes and four minutes after Rasmus Hojlund's goals.

Ten Hag is still having to contend with a long injury list and midfielder Sofyan Amrabat was exposed again as he started as an auxiliary left-back in Galatasaray's win. "There are no excuses," Ten Hag stressed. "Maybe we have a little unbalance [on the] left side but we can't make the errors we are making.
