As viewers of the ITV soap know, Chas Dingle has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. The lump was found by Liam Cavanagh as they enjoyed a romantic liaison and after further tests, it was revealed she had cancer like her later mum Faith Dingle, who died in 2022.
After a break away ahead of her treatment, Chas returned to the village this week and in Thursday night's episode (February 29), she was seen revealing to her family the cause of her cancer is the faulty BRCA2 gene, and her son Aaron as well as brothers Cain and Caleb are blindsided to learn there’s a high likelihood they could have it too and are further rocked with the realisation they could pass it on to their children.
