Tom, 26, finished in third place on the ITV show and amassed thousands of fans in the process. He then gave up his teaching career to pursue music full time, and was inundated with huge opportunities.
However, one TV opportunity Tom was offered came at a huge cost. In order to appear on America's Got Talent: All Stars, he had to postpone his honeymoon.
Simon Cowell was so impressed with Tom on BGT that he asked him to appear on the American All Stars spin-off.Tom revealed he was shopping for his wedding suit when Simon called him about the opportunity.
