Chas underwent the procedure in Thursday's (14 March) episode of Emmerdale. Her son Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) and brother Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) were both at the hospital supporting her.
The duo patiently waited for Chas to come round from the surgery, with Aaron becoming increasingly nervous as time went on. He shared his fears with Cain, who reassured him everything would be fine.
Towards the end of the episode, Aaron received a text, notifying him that Chas was out of surgery. He told Cain: "She's out," as he read his phone.
