EastEnders actress Jacqueline Jossa has admitted that she has been considering taking her children out of school because she feels it is "very similar to prison".The mum of two, who is now back in her BBC soap role as Lauren Branning, told her Instagram followers that homeschooling was "an argument I have in my own head all the time" because she felt that the school system was "dated".
Jacqueline, 31, has two daughters with husband Dan Osborne - Ella, nine, and five-year-old Mia - but despite her busy schedule now that she is back on Albert Square, she said she is still wondering whether homeschooling would be the best option for them.
In a recent Instagram post, the TV star shared a clip of the Mel Robbins podcast featuring a discussion about whether sitting down for long periods of time each day could destroy your health. "I just feel like school system is slightly dated now and we all learn so differently.
Obviously school is amazing and I have nothing but good positive memories and experience so it's always an argument I have in my own head all the time. "Pros and cons etc...But like school is very similar to prison. That's odd to me." Meanwhile, Jacqueline said earlier this year that she was feeling fitter than ever thanks to committing to working out at least three times a week.
