Eamonn Homes has said Phillip Schofield has 'finally been caught out' but is 'not the only guilty party' over his affair.Phil, 61, admitted that he was involved in an affair with a younger male ITV employee before announcing he has quit ITV for good.

It comes as the former This Morning host revealed that he had previously lied about the relationship. In a lengthy statement, Phil issued an apology to everyone, including his family, for the affair, as well as saying sorry for lying in the press when approached previously. "I did have a consensual on-off relationship with a younger male colleague at This Morning.

Contrary to speculation, whilst I met the man when he was a teenager and was asked to help him to get into television, it was only after he started to work on the show that it became more than just a friendship.

That relationship was unwise, but not illegal. It is now over", he said. And now former colleagues have broken their silence on the matter, with fellow ex This Morning host Eamonn Holmes sharing a Tweet, reports the Mirror.
