Drivers warned of 'significant' delays ahead of full weekend closure of Whirlies Roundabout

Drivers are being reminded of a full weekend closure of the Whirlies Roundabout in East Kilbride from Friday, November 17.Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, are resurfacing this section of the A725 which will last until Monday, November 20.'Significant increases' in journey times are expected.This scheme is set to benefit vehicles using this route each day, by improving the condition and safety of the carriageway and reducing the need for more disruptive maintenance in the future.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
