A horrendous social media post mocking the death of a construction worker at Everton's new stadium has been condemned by a Mayor.
Merseyside Police scrambled to the site of the build after a 26-year-old was injured shortly before 1pm yesterday (August 14).
Emergency services attended the Bramley Moore Dock scene and the victim, understood to have suffered severe head injuries, was taken to Aintree Hospital but declared dead a short time later.
Since the death was confirmed by police, a post on X (formerly Twitter) has been condemned after it appears to mock the death.
