Dad 'fuming' after £36 KFC bucket bought on Deliveroo arrives missing 27 pieces

A fuming dad has hit out at Deliveroo after his family's celebration of his new job was cut short after less than half of his £36 takeaway arrived.Steve Hunt, his wife Syreeta, and his two sons Myro, 15, and Sonny, 12, had been looking forward to a KFC meal to celebrate Steve getting a new job as a wellbeing coordinator when they discovered something was wrong.The family were baffled to find that the £36.99 Matchday Party Bucket, which is supposed to contain a total of 30 pieces of chicken, had only three bits of chicken and a small bottle of orange juice, which they hadn't asked for.Dad-of-two Steve, from Norwich, told the Mirror: "I had just got a new job and we were celebrating with a KFC."Me, my wife and the boys - Myro, 15, and Sonny, 12 - were starving and our mouths were watering at the prospect of a delivery from the Colonel."When it arrived, my wife, Syreeta, shouted from the kitchen asking why I had ordered just for myself.

I went through and looked at the bucket - which has three bits of chicken in it and a couple of burnt scraps."I went to open the bag and all that was there was a tiny bottle of orange juice, which we hadn't even ordered."KFC's Matchday Party Bucket, is supposed to consist of a 14-piece party bucket along with 8 mini fillets and hot wings, as well as popcorn chicken, six portions of fries, a large container of coleslaw, gravy, and a 1.5 litre bottle of Pepsi.Steve claims he was left frustrated by his attempts to contact Deliveroo and KFC.

He claims he was told that as the order has been "delivered and accepted", he was not entitled to a refund, forcing the family to fork out another £30 on McDonald's instead.Steve added: "Colonel Sanders has really let us down - this has got to be the worst
